hi all, my youtube on Sony Bravia Smart TV not working, it says to check youtube.com/devicesupport and everyone there is griping about how google took over and smart tv's 2012 and before are not being supported anymore.

As answered above, but more specifically Google has upgraded Youtube from API v2 to API V3. This means all older devices before last year'ish won't work unless you can somehow upgrade the software.
so how would you 'somehow 'upgrade' the software'? Can you please explain further thanks?
you need to contact Sony and ask for an update, there probably isnt one though.

I wouldnt hold my breath, this is the same for other makes too, not just sony.
