  • Deal on hold?

    • +1

Yeh, not sure on that, same thing has happened to the GOOGLE Chromecast they listed moments before for $31 so i suppose they are just in the process of updating.

  • Galaxy s6 32gb for $658 sitting on hold too

    • Galaxy deal active now

  • they are waiting for the 20% off code to expire

    • The C20EXTRA code has expired, I just checked

  • +1

    Active now

  • +1

It's open and working now. Couldn't help but grab one.

  • +4

It's it bad that the only reason I'm considering purchasing one is so that I can strap it my dogs…

Guys get a Xiaomi Yi if you don't care about the screen, very comparable quality for 1/3 of the price.

    • Im happy with the Xiaomi Yi but the battery life seems to be low but unsure about the GoPro. Mushtato selling the Xiaomi Yi for $109 which seems to be really good for local stock and warranty.

    • Except it's hard to find accessories

    • Or get a SJCAM4000. Got it for $99 and the quality is pretty damn solid.

  • I wonder if there are any other coupon code besides the cash rewards!!

    • Yes, $50 off vouchers tomorrow, but these deals will be over by then.

    • IF it's not sold out by midnight AND IF eBay sends out the vouchers by then (i'm not sure as I didn't quality for any), then I suppose it would work together :)

  • There's an issue on these cameras where it sounds like a helicopter is in the background if the WiFi is on while recording in a quiet-ish environment. I've had 2 issues so far with this issue. GoPro support aren't that helpful - all they say is send it back.

Ahh just paid $380 for one with the 20% off sale

    • +1

me too.. this is pretty damn annoying :\

      • woohoo, contacted bing lee via ebay and they refunded my original order :D

    • me too :(

  • Pretty good price still I paid $398 earlier this year with the first eBay sell from TGG

  • I was with DickS deal and I paid 399 + 50 ebay voucher so this is a good deal

  • If thwy did a deal on the black I'd get one… not so keen on the silver

    • I think all these silver deals are because of the HERO+LCD release.

      • +1

You had me worried for a second then, here's a side-by-side comparison
        (additions are touchscreen & 720p SuperView / 60fps)

        • I didnt say it was better than .. But I can see people buying the HERO+LCD if it is cheaper.

        • @aldoduco:

I actually bought a Yi ($109)…then bought a Hero4 in the eBay deal (TGG) for $389
Both just picked up / delivered last few days and still in box

Damn OZB…I am now very poor :(

        • @kungbernard:

Tell me about it, i own a Yi and a Silver too.

If it is still sealed, you can return it to the TGG and buy the group deal to save $45 ;)

        • @aldoduco:

          I am good with it
I am going on holiday next week and would like to try on the GoPro
Unsure whether the Group deal will deliver ontime before I leave

Besides, TGG ebay is providing $487 tax invoice
which is a few dollars more after TRS

      • Now they've added a Hero4 Session to their lineup

  • Thanks bought. Any deals on accessories?

  • +1

I know it's more expensive, but the gopro 4 black is much more impressive even at the same 1080p setting. Will wait for good deal on 4 black or see what xiaomi do with the next gen camera.

    • most of people do not have 4K TVs or computers which are capable of 4K editing.

      • +1

To be honest, I prefer to set higher fps than higher resolutions
I think Full HD is good enough, 2k / 4k is something good but not really necessary
Especially people these days shares video via Social network but not much support 4K videos yet
(And AUS upload speed are crap unless you got NBN)

From the reviews I've researched The same resolution video captured on black and silver (at any resolution including below 4k) are quite different.

The black has much better low light performance and picture clarity in general.

If bloody kogan didn't raise their price from $540 to $608 on ebay it would have been a deal ++

You might want to try some other reviews because these sound like rubbish reviews.

The black has much better low light performance and picture clarity in general.

It doesn't, the silver and black have identical performance unlike the 3`s what the silver has lower quality.

@Maverick-au: on the other hand, I'd believe you if you told me that recording at 4K 30fps and resizing down to 1080P 30fps during editing could produce a better 1080P image.

        • @muncan: yer i got confused. I meant down sample from 4k to HD but like eddieaus says that presents it's own challenges with tech.

  • no regrets

  • Does anyone know if this comes with the same accessories listed on the JB Hi-Fi page?

    • HERO4 Silver Camera with Built-In Touch Display
    • Standard Housing 131’ (40m)
    • Skeleton + Touch Backdoors
    • Rechargeable Battery
    • Curved Adhesive Mount
    • Flat Adhesive Mount
    • Quick Release Buckles
    • 3-Way Pivot Arm
    • USB Cable

    • +1

    • yes, it has all that standard

  • Thanks OP. I was pissed when Kogan raised their GoPro price during the sale (it was going to be about $355+CB). But this works out even cheaper than that. Glad I waited.

  • just got confirmation from ebay rep that we will be receiving 50$ rebate voucher as this was part of the Hump Month specific retailer promotion and not the Hump Month Site Wide promotion

    t and cs:
    http://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/humpmonth
*The offer will commence at 10.00am on 10 June 2015 and end the sooner of either 25 June 2015 or once 15,000 eligible purchases have been made (ie upon the allocation of 15,000 vouchers) (“Offer Period”). eBay will notify customers on the offer homepage of http://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/Hump_Month once the voucher limit has been reached.

    • ?

      • if you go to the hump month website
        http://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/Hump_Month?_trkparms=clkid%3D7216…

it lists the gopro at $344

now according to the terms and conditions
        http://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/humpmonth

if not all the vouchers have been allocated by 25th which i assume it has not then this is still eligible for a 50$ voucher

        • the sooner of 25th and 15000. already past 25th so no voucher i would assume

        • I don't think so, it ended on the 25th, even if they didn't reach 15000 purchases.

        • the sooner of 25th and 15000

Means even vouchers giveaway does not reach 15000
The offer will still be ended by 25th June

          right?

        • So you didn't get the $50 voucher right? I didn't get anything with my purchase.

  • true

  • Let me guess, you guys are all using to take videos of your food right?

    • You have smartphones for that purpose, more convenient than carrying a GoPro all the time.

  • Just sold out

  • People waiting to use the $50 eBay voucher will be unhappy…

    • Well tough luck. They gambled and they lost.

  • I haven't had a delivery confirmaion from Bing Lee so I messaged them. This was their response.

    Hi,
    So sorry for delay.
Due to sales and unforeseen number of orders received, there have been delay with some orders.
We will request to have it dispatched on the next available shippment
Apology again for delay and inconvenience caused.

I questioned right back why the number of orders were unforeseen when they had a specific number for sale in the group buy, and when their 'next available shipment' would be. They haven't replied. We might be waiting for a while on this one folks :-(

    • i got deliver confirmed yesterday

      • Cheers - maybe it's just me then.

        • Update: they apologised for the delay and have shipped one to me. It sounds like they weren't expecting the number of orders they received. OzBargained maybe.

    • I havent got this item yet either. They were supposed to arrive last Thursday. I am leaving for my travels this Friday and bought this camera for this purpose. Come on Bing Lee hurry up.

      • Just received mine in Brisbane.
