Office 365 - When Is The Last Day?

Hi Guys,

I'm a bit confused by the office 365 cashback offer. On their website it has:

"To receive your $25 cash back simply upload a scan of your proof of purchase and proof of activation via this form no later than 31st July 2015. Both proof of purchase and activation must be submitted to be eligible for the $25 cash back. Your cash back will be deposited into your bank account within 60 days of receiving the completed claim form. For multiple purchases on one receipt, each product must be claimed individually. Offer valid between 21st May 2015 and 5th July 2015." https://www.microsoft.com.au/officecashback

What is the 31st of July for as opposed to the 5th of July? The 5th of July is only a few days away, so it doesn't give us much time to make a claim if that is the late day to do it.

    My take:

Date on receipt must be between 21st may and 5th July, you must submit the form before 31st July.

  • Purchases must be made by the 5th July, all paperwork must be submitted by 31st July.

  • Ah ok. Thanks. That makes sense.

I have another question that I was wondering if anyone could answer. I got "Office 365 personal for 1 device" and I installed it on the tablet it came with but I want it on my laptop instead. Is it possible to do this? I've already put it on the tablet.

  • Took this offer up in November, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/220499

Bank statement shows no direct deposit from Microsoft of $25, so my question is whether everyone has forgotten about the offer?

    Did anyone receive the cashback?

I will create a new thread if nobody bothers to answer this in the next 4 days. Just thought life would be simpler to have the information in one thread.

    • I got my cashback. It was pretty slow and took about 1-1.5 months for it to come through in my bank account. I don't think yours should be taking this long though, maybe give ms a call. They might have misfiled it as processed or theres a problem with it and they're waiting for you to call. When I ordered a surface from the ms store, it disappeared by itself from my orders page and I had to chase them up to see where it was. They also told me they would call me back but never did so don't expect too much from ms's service!

  • Thanks for your reply Lenneth. Good suggestion regarding contacting Microsoft, but I did not receive any confirmation that my cashback entry was successful, other than the microsoft webpage that said my entry was successful. No reference ID, No claim I.D etc.

You look at the website https://www.microsoft.com.au/officecashback this present day, doesn't fill one with hope, as all reference to cashback GOONE:

"We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found.
