Where to Find Cheap CR123 Batteries?

I have Arlo security cams that require these batteries.

They are so expensive! Where to find cheap ones?

The cheapest I can find is still expensive!
Dick has $3.79 each.

you can buy large strips on ebay. or websites like dx/geekbuying/tmart etc if you want to wait the month. I generally buy them in a strip of 4-6 for $1 delivered.

Here's the link for what TomMac and I are using:

They have a much higher mAh rating than many (most/all?) of the others. Even if the camera is a heavy draw, leading to a lesser projected runtime, these are ~3x the rating of the others so one can reasonably expect longer battery change intervals. My initial installs didn't last long but then I was still trying to adjust video lengths, positions and sensitivities, not to mention very cold temps. Also, the has been a camera firmware update. The combination of the firmware, moderating temps, and less putzing around has led to seemingly great battery life although it's still too early to report actual results.

      • Thank you buddy! I went to the same thread but was too lazy to read all comments :) Noted. I will buy these rechargable ones once my primary batteries run out.

  • Yah, eBay.

  • Bought 4 rechargeable ones on eBay for like $5. Has been working fine… so far.

The CR123 is not a button or coin cell, it's more like half a AA battery in size.

    • Thanks!

    • Cheers, I did not know that.

  • I've been watching them on Dick Smith, energizer normally on "sale" for a little over $3 C&C each, with good stock at most stores. Of course once a week or so they go back to the in store price of around $11 for their percent off "sale".
    $10.98 today, bloody dick!

  • Try one of those $2/bargain stores. I got a pack of about 30 various battery types (including 2xCR123) for about $4 if I remember correctly. Don't need to worry about shipping and the like as well…
