1890

Great to see a free Aussie album on the Play Store. Around $15 at JB Hi-Fi. Enjoy :)

It is asking me for a payment method for a free album. Is there a way around that?

Get the Google Rewards app and do at least one survey to earn some credit.

      • Thanks for the information. Android phone app - makes sense but doesn't go well with iphone 6+. Anyone know if there is a PC version of this app?

        • Maybe run Google Rewards under BlueStacks on PC?

        • Aside from BlueStacks as FreqayGeeq mentioned, others are: Andyroid emulator, Genymotion, AMI DuOS, Android-x86…

    • No you need to set up a billing account with google play, I've set mine up too bill my Telstra mobile account. Ps: we have billed your account $0.00

Or as scupper has mentioned above.

    • yeah, it's a bit annoying, they need payment details for a free item, you can also use your paypal account.

    • use paypal

The answer is would anyone actually pay any money for said album otherwise? Not sure if it's really a bargain.

    • What's the question lol?

    • Answer is no. But for free obviously there are some bites….although helps when TA advertises it.

    • you could say the same about the 100s of udemy/google play/ amazon/ itunes deals on this site

      • True I'd like to see a list of ozbargain free music picked up through iTunes and google play.

  • Thanks OP

  • still free? mines saying $15.99

    • Mine still says free.

      • weird.. i tried on laptop then phone, still $15

        • check what country is set for your google account, it will not be AU.
Set it to AU and try again

        • thanks, it was set to NZ.
but even after changing everything to Aus still didnt seem to change it to free.
might have to enquire about it via google.
          UPDATE…
actually must of taken a few days to change over, its now FREE !!!!!!!!!!

          cheers

    • Still free for me.
