  • Still mowing our may through last week's deal, how long will this last?

    • ;-) At least a week

  • +2

    How far away is the brewover now?

    • +100! Love seeing the updates, but I want to see the one where they have been shipped :P

      • +2

        Valve has been upgraded now and production of this last part has commenced. Should be finished in 2 weeks and then we'll be flying back to China to oversee the assembly and shipping to Australia. Then about 3 weeks on the boat before they arrive ready to be shipped out to fulfill the presales ;-) Almost there

        • So looking like we'll receive them mid-August-ish?

        • +1

          @Jonaseymour: Yes that's correct :-)

        • What's the date and price range for sale to the general public?

          I've also ordered from your last bean deal, what's your opinion of chucking a few bags in the freezer?

        • @uncojoe: You should be able to get an indication of standard pricing from our website. The Geisha is normally $59.95 per kg and the other coffees are around $39.95 per kg.

          All coffee is fresh roasted to order. Ideally if drinking within a month then storing in a cool dark place in bags provided is the best option but freezing is something you could consider if you intend to keep for longer periods. It's not that you can't drink the coffee months later just that the unique profiles of the coffee will diminish leaving something similar to what you would find in the supermarket.

          Freezing may give you a better result if for prolonged periods. Just make sure you only freeze once and defrost thoroughly :-)

        • @mannabeans:
          I meant the price and date for the brew kit for the non kickstarter backers.

          I've got my coffee storage situation solved, gave a few packs out to some workmates… free advertising for you too :)

        • @uncojoe: Haha Sorry my mistake. I should have replied earlier but didn't see the thread. Thanks for referral much appreciated.

          Currently taking presales through the Brewover website at $79 + shipping but once they arrive the RRP will be $129.95 to the public. We already have a distributor in place for Australia. Same timeline will apply :-)
