COLDPRESS25

Have been looking at getting a slow cold press juicer for a while and this new recently released one seemed like a good choice for me. Cheapest recently has been $466 at David Jones (silver only) and $429 at Sprout (silver and red only).

The coupon also works on the other cold press juicers listed HERE

BioChef Atlas Juicer RRP $449 down to $337 (Save $112)
Oscar Neo DA 1000 Ultem Tough Juicer RRP $549 down to $411.74 (Save $137.25)
Greenpower Hippocrates GPT-1305 Plus Twin Gear Juicer RRP $699 down to $449 (Save $250)

I also got myself a set of ceramic knives with bamboo block and chopping board for $44 delivered using the coupon code VTLWREG

Please don't argue about the whole juicing vs blending thing, I have a blender also and like using them both. Cheers!

$549 on their site? Is this a 25% off code?

Bit hasty on the neg. Shipping is free and yes the RRP is $549.

  • so how much is it?

    • Apologies. Fixed

  • Juicer vs NutriBullet like blenders, which one should I have?

    • +1

Both! But it really depends on what you want to make with them. If I didn't have a blender I'd probably get one before getting a juicer. Lots of info on that topic here: http://bfy.tw/gWV ;) For the record, I have an OPTIMUM 9400 blender, but have been using a NutriNinja ($200 from Costco with lifetime warranty) most mornings for breakfast smoothies and they're great for that.

    • If you don't already have a blender then I suggest you get a proper big one. I swallowed hard and bought the Vitamix. Got it at Myers for $200 off retail. There are cheaper options out there that are probably really good, (see the Froothie site).

I use the Vitamix to liquidise tomatoes - skin, seeds and all. It makes great blended soup, smoothies, etc. They are also a doddle to clean. I burned through a number of cheaper style blenders before I bought this one.

    How slow is it?

    • 67 RPM

      • That's twice as fast as my LP player…

        • +2

That is a bit too fast, stick a 1 or 2 cent piece on the inner circle to slow it down a bit.
