Train with 10 free class session in Fitness First. Go in the morning for City to Surf, then lunch with some good food and wine in town. perfecto!

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the starting group? I chose Back of the pack but now thinking back this is probably the worst place to start because there will be too many people
There is something like 80,000 people doing this event, its a lot of people no matter which wave you start in.
Unfortunately you can't change.
If you're planning on walking, back of the pack will be fine. If you're planning on running expect to be weaving through walkers from your group and the groups in front of you for the entire race.
Having said that if you're a runner you'll get that to some extent even in the Green start group.
You could choose to start in another starting time anyway, but your bib won't be counted and you won't get an official time.
If you were planning on running, I'd recommend getting to your starting area nice and early so you can start near the front of your group.

How did everyone go? It was my first c2s and I found it to be surprisingly easy. Heartbreak Hill wasn't as bad as people make it to be.
I can confirm it works. Never entered before so I will give it a go.
Although, thinking about it. Come Monday morning, there will be most likely a lot of cancelled entries.
