  Considering the prices, i hope most of the stuff is actually made in australia as well? (a friend mentioned Blundstones seem to be made overseas as well as here)

    Akubra are made here but the materials (rabbit pelts) are all sourced overseas.

        For the last few years akubra have mostly been using OS sourced pelts with only a small % of oz sourced pelts. The main supplier of oz pelts only sold 15% of their pelts to akubra - approx 1500 pelts last year. The remainder of that suppliers pelts go to other hat produced and furriers.

  Blundstone shoes and boots used to be made in Tasmania but they shut that factory down years ago now all their manufacturing is done in China.

  I bought from these guys a couple months ago, since I live near the factory. They are super friendly and ridiculously knowledgeable.

  I also was in the market for boots that are Australian Made, so I bought Rossi workboots. Took a week to break in, best shoes I've ever owned.

  Blundstones are made overseas now, and the cheapest of the RM Williams are Chinese made.

  If you do your research to where your products come from and you know what you want, these guys are great and I will buy again from them without a second thought.

  Better yet, give them a call if you need to know more…they are honest and know their products inside out!!
