Not really worth it I found. Most of those you end up spending hundreds of hours to get $10 of rewards.

If you're referring to opinion rewards, you've clearly never used it before because that's not the case.
what about Appgratis and FreeAppOfTheDay.
what do you win on those apps?
its not a competition, you get apps that are normal ones you have to pay for for free.(so a significant discount)
Google Rewards app, get play credits for doing surveys.
