Acceptable Price on an S6 Edge with Charging Issue?

Hoping someone can help me out please.

I dropped my phone in the bath for just a couple of seconds and turned it off, went into rice. Everything seems to be working great apart from the "fast charging" is no long fast and takes a while to charge.

I like my electronics to be covered under warranty and I know this wont be now so I was looking to sell it.

What would be an appropriate price to put on it?

I have had an offer of around $450 and not sure whether or not to take it

Thanks!

Once it is water damaged, usually no one will take the phone. Im surprised someone actually offers 450. Did you mentioned it was dropped in water or just fast charging doesnt work. The longer you wait, the guy will change his mind…

    • I did mention it was dropped in water, Im too honest not to! lol

  • Make sure you state on wherever you are selling it (?eBay?) that it the phone is sold AS IS. Put this in big text as some people on eBay can't read.

I'd even go one further and email the buyer to confirm they know it is water damaged.

That way they can't pull any item not as described bulls***

  • take the money and run - I am betting something else will fail in the next few months.

  • Thanks everyone. guess I have to cut my losses and just accept it!

  • Yeah I dropped my S3 in water, after the rice trick it was fine for a while but its now developed this weird flicker where the screen starts flicking as if someone is moving a thumb over it really fast.

  • isnt the s6 waterproof?

    • no, but videos show it with standing water quite well.
