Brita Fill & Go Water Bottle $4.98 (Save $14.97) @ Woolworths

850

Seen this little gem when shopping this evening in Woolworths Belmont, WA.

Comes with 4 filter discs. Can't go wrong for basically 5 bucks.

I brought three and left the rest for fellow OzBargainers.

Appears to be nationwide

Ticket has what looks like an end date of 28/07/2015.

Edit: appears to be all Woolworths stores. Had friends check in Victoria and same price.

If none left, try pushing for a rain check.

Looking forward to some high quality H2O

Is this better than a normal water bottle?

Is this better than a business sock?

Good price, but unfortunately that one that I have leaks. Anyone else found this?

From personal experience got two of these when Brita had BOGOF a while ago. Absolutely terrible, like beyond awful. Maybe it was just the two that we received but both were hardly usable. One you couldn't drink out of bottle when the filter was in, like it wasn't sealed properly or something, and the other wouldn't tighten properly. Contacted Brita but they weren't helpful at all. On top of this the bottles make a terrible mess every time you have to refill it (you basically have to take the whole inside element out to refill and water gets everywhere during this process). Would not recommend.

    • Agreed. I bought 3 from a previous deal and I threw away the filters after a trip abroad. They were fiddly and I basically used them to filter the water from the filled bottles into a kettle for boiling.

These will leak. Becareful if placing it in your bag.

  • FYI these require filter cartridges to be put in for use, and they only last a week before they have to be replaced.

  • I didn't experience any issues with leakage with my bottle and I didn't need to replace my filter cartridges that often. I used mine when I was in Atlanta where the water was pretty terrible and it was needed.

  • Is this made of plastic or glass?

it last me for 6 months before the rubber/silicon part of the suction on the cap showing marks like molding and no matter how much you wash it the mark won't go away. Then the cap spring broke. But 5 Bucks is still a good deal.

  • Tossed mine after 2 uses. They're pretty crappy, not really a bargain at any price.

:O so many bad reviews. I have a previous model blue colour bottle which is very good. But it is discontinued. I thought this new model would be better!

These comments are why I like Ozbargain, get a better informed information about the product. Thanks guys.

  • Just to balance the reviews, I've been using one of these for the past 6 months and I think it's brilliant. Makes a huge difference to the taste of the water and haven't had any issues with leaking. There are four filters included with the bottle and they are spec'd to filter 20L so they last more than week each in my case.

Stick to the squeeze bottle version. The cap on this traps the moisture in and you get black growths on the drinking nozzle silicone rubber. I actually removed the cap by breaking it off from the hinge to slow the growth. Pretty bad design.

    • Mold on silicone rubber nozzle - happens on Camelbak water bottle as well.

  • Water lead contamination scare news this week from overseas. Wonder if sample test has been carried out here in Australia on all new buildings, considered the number of new buildings and imported materials used.

  • high quality H2O? you got be joking me if that's NOT normal water.

PS. these filters are contaminated when they used with contaminated water. it might save you a bit from that contamination but will consistently providing contamination to you water if it's not sealed tightly.hi
    good luck!
I stick to high standard Ozzie tap water. bottled water? if I have to.
