Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adaptor $30.03 (Pick up) @ Dick Smith

130

I was looking for one to use with my AV receiver, did a quick search, it seems to be the cheapest I can find.

It is $1 cheaper than last deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/202874

I have one of these, in my old school stereo…works perfectly bringing my old stereo system that I stopped using back to life. Worth every cent.

Too true. I bought two, one for my amp and one for my "ancient" Panasonic Miro HiFi system. Had to give it a good dust off and it sounds as sweet as it did 15 years ago!

    • Same situation. Bought at a recent DSE sale for $26 and works a treat.

    • Hmmm there are two reviews on the page. One with 5 stars, one with 1 star.

I would presume Logitech would be better quality.

  • Anyone using this with a middle of the range 2.1 or 5.1 logitech system. How would it sound paired up to X-530, X-540 or z-506?

FYI You can generic version for less than $10 on eBay.

Audio quality and/or range could be only worth $10 too.

  • For anyone after detailed specs check this out:

It's Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP but no AptX. No NFC either as you would expect at this price.

    • Wondering how important AptX is when you play mp3/m4a files.
Can get a AptX compatible one for $24, but if the D/A converter is bad then there's no point.

      • I can hear the difference between AptX on/off when streaming 320 kbps from the likes of Spotify Premium and Google Play All Access, although that could be because My Moto G has AptX but drops to SBC with a non-AptX compatible receiver device.

Besides, a lot of people have FLAC collections these days so this would definitely matter.

You should probably also mention that it depends on how good the speakers are, and whether the listener is sitting down concentrating on the music or it's really just for background music while doing something else.
