New models are due out in a week or two.

The replacement X3200W adds Atmos and better 4K support. Everything else seems pretty much the same.

      "adds Atmos "

Wasn't that featured on Dr Who?
I, for one, welcome our new Sontaren overlords.

      • I thought it was the lava lamp thing from Barbarella

  • The AVR-X3100W doesn't support 4k blurays as it doesn't have HDCP 2.2. So avoid if you want to be able to one day use this to 4k. The new AVR-X3200W however does support it.

    • Also dont forget no warranty and no parts available for grey import stock in Aust as Denon checks serial numbers before selling parts.

  • I have the X2000 that I picked up nearly a year ago. Mostly happy with it, my main complaint is lack of Spotify Connect support (not sure if they've added it to this model?). It has a rudimentary Spotify client built in but it's a pretty crappy experience driving it from the remote. If you have a iPhone there's always AirPlay though, which works well.

Edit: looks like this one does have Spotify Connect
