What's Your Best eBay Bargain?

Hi I'm just curious as to what bargains people have gotten off ebay, personally ive found a few decent ones but mostly in Mobile phones and Tablets.

My two best bargains are
1. Samsung Galaxy S5 16gb Blue Unlocked for $190 delivered (it is perfect condition) Got this last week on ebay.

  1. Nexus 7 2013 $60 delivered (Very good condition)

Powerline Adapters (for FetchTV) for 10c + $15 shipping.

They're like $50 - and considering that my Fetch was free ($240 for 24 month contract usually, they charge me it but give me a $10 credit each month).

      Who through?

iiNet. I get 300GB Naked DSL (cause I don't need a home-phone, it's the 21st century for god's sake), FetchTV, a new router (NetComm Dual Band N600) and unmetered Netflix.

        • Ooh I might need to give their sales team a call. Tenure of 4yrs or so, out of contract.

        • @Spackbace: I moved to iiNet after my old provider, MyNetFone, wanted to charge me $70/m for what was $50/m at my old address because "we couldn't find a phone line, you'll need to hire one from Telstra.". Said screw this, they offered to cancel my service for free, and I signed up with iiNet to get 3x the bandwidth, Fetch, a new router, and unmetered Xbox and Steam (what I use most to chill out). Support is better too.

    HDMI 1.5 mtr cable started @ 0.01c auction finished @ 0.11c delivered.

  • Mac "Freckletone" lipstick new in box for $4 shipped, retails for $36 at Myer.

Lucas Pawpaw ointment, 25g for $1 shipped, retails for $7.

    Both were misprices.

    • Lucas Pawpaw ointment

Any idea why this is popular with Asian women (heard it from a supermarket working acquaintance)?

Baby formula I understand, but Paw Paw ointments?

      • Women, not just Asians, apparently love it. From the ingredients it's pretty much pawpaw flavoured Vaseline, but somehow the fruitiness makes it an amazing moisturiser or lip balm.

Macbook Air 11' 128GB for $500 delivered from Kogan

    • nice..was it on special?

It was a eBay group deal by Kogan during one of the first 20% off sale on ebay. The price was $625 which after 20% off discount came down to $500. I remember they only sold 500 and they all were gone in half an hour.

  • Dyson v6 Animal for $425, no further obligations. This was during the fortunate period where I had a 15% coupon and the retailer also reduced the price.

There was a deal later where you could get the same Dyson + a bunch of wine for about the same price, but that had various requirements (Amex card etc).

  • No hack or price error here. Got my AU stock HTC One M8 during the eBay 20% off tech promo last year, while Qantas Points was running a double point (i.e. 4 points per $1), and I received the QFF points for the original price. Love the phone, too.

  • A bunk bed with a fold out sofa underneath. Included mattresses and was as new condition. Included Next bedding, lightshade and curtains. Obviously was local pick up and I was the only bidder at 99p (was in UK at the time). Won on Xmas eve picked up on boxing day. Must have been the time of year noone else was buying a bed!

  • Got a Thinkpad T430 back when powerbuy used to to cashback on them for $500 pickup, refurbished but it looked brand new!
Got a sealed Thinkpad Yoga 14 for $640 pickup.
Thinkpad Yoga 12 second hand good condition for $450.

Not much but still pretty good:
Thinkpad X1 Carbon non touch but full specced for $1100 with 3 years warranty.

    • super jelly of X1

      • :D I know right!
I've actually got two of those for different people, the guy might have some more. Look for professional_laptop on ebay I think, his name is John, he is a nice bloke.

        Edit:
This is his shop, seems like he doesn't have that anymore. He has the touch one for $1800 though

  • A baby carrier called a Wilkinet in 2005 for £16. Each of my 3 children over the subsequent 10 years lived in it for the first 9 months and it would probably sell for the same on eBay today (rrp is about $120.)
