Hi Ozbargainers,

My first post here after using some travel deals.

HotelClub is now having 15% off. It beats their past promotions where they had a 15/17% off and the fixed amounts $25/50/100. I used and compared those two previous deals to get the cheapest booking (I met the criteria for the largest discounts on both), although somehow using this 15% I'm now getting an even cheaper rate for all my bookings so this is worth posting up. My only regret is booking some of the hotels without free cancellation.

From what I see there is no limitations on the travel dates like other HotelClub promotions I've recently tried (e.g. PASSPORT15 for 2015 hotels only). It didn't work for my 2016 travel!

Don't forget cash rewards and pink for some % back.

      Yes, about $60 more expensive than my booking.

    It is interesting. I checked my old booking and it doesn't calculate to 20% even though I qualified. I didn't check the percentage before. My total hotel costs are cheaper than when I booked last week for all my hotels and I've triple checked all my date comparisons. Example below.

    Before:
    Trip cost
    Hotel (6 nights)
    2 guests $284.21 avg/night $1,705.23
    Promo code applied -$341.05
    Taxes and fees $93.66
    Total trip cost $1,457.84

    After:
    Trip cost
    Hotel (6 nights)
    2 guests $244.02 avg/night $1,464.13
    Promo code applied -$219.62
    Taxes and fees $79.83
    Total trip cost $1,324.34

      Can only imagine the hotel price has dropped in the meantime. Care to share the name of it?
      I've checked my future bookings, and see nothing of the nature you describe.

  It can't beat discount + AMEX offer not long ago neither. But this is good enough.

  The HotelClub 20% deal of early July is about as good as it gets. Unfortunately. In the meantime the USD exchange rate has gone south so US bookings at 15% off now will be dearer again for that. Phew, I booked my Colorado trip three weeks ago…and I can cancel until the day before :-) .. !!

    I agree although the exchange rate hasn't changed that much since early July due to the recovery this morning!
    Disagree with OP as my hotel quote for Hawaii is definitely more expensive then the SAVE20AU code.
