Edit: Sorry everyone, all gone! Thanks to those who popped in today!

Hey Ozbargainers,

We had a great response from you all buying the Bose Soundlink Mini's from the other day, we thought we would like to offer anyone who would like to visit the store a free Bose T-shirt. We have various sizes, colors and designs available and you can choose what you would like. There are around 200 in total. Mostly M and XL. No catch, no purchase required, just come in the store and pick up. You can have a look around the store or leave straight away if that suits you.

How many you got in stock? People will be disappointed if they make the effort to go and can't get it.

      You would think but.

The shirt would serve Bose a free advertisement worthy of OzBargain. I'd be happy to wear it around town … if they have them here in Canberra. But, alas.

  • what do they look like? are they black?

    • Yeah, I have black ones and it has the Bose logo across the front and back

      • Until when…? will be in Mel this weekend, still valid?

  • Sydney?

Ha ha, that's it right there. If you wear a Bose shirt out in public you risk being accosted by some tubby neckbeard who simply has to tell you that you are some cashed up fool and that your overpriced plastic junk would be destroyed by a an old PC running some Linux distribution via a some DAC from eBay, running to some Logitech powered speaker system.

      • I was pressing the demo buttons in a JB HiFi while the salesman had gone off to see if had any stock of some nice looking subwoofer I was interested in. First I pressed the entry-level Bose cinema system…nice, then the next model up…nicer!

Then I pressed the top of the range one…people stopped what they were doing and started wandering over to check it out! The salesman returned and I said "I'll take this one here"

  • I know that BOSE had a bad reputation from a long time ago where they would be very vague with the specs but still cost top dollar, and some products were no better than cheap brands. Does this criticism still hold water or have they become better?

    • Still the same. At the end of the day buy it if YOU like it. Have a listen, check out some alternatives etcetera. Don't buy it because you saw someone wearing a Bose T-shirt or saw a Porsche which had Bose speakers.

  • Too bad they dont have this at the Camberwell store, much closer from my office :(

  • Must drop by on the way home tonight…will go nicely with my Soundlink Mini and Cinemate SR-1 systems :)
I'm in the market for some waterproof outdoor speakers soon too!
