This is a new offer available within the PokitPal app (not from the hardcopy booklet). To redeem the offer you will have to download the PokitPal app from Google Play or the Apple App Store, register an account (free) then show the voucher on your screen to the person at the cashier.NOTE: This app is primarily aimed at university students, however registering an account on the app doesn't require any university details, any email address will do. I am a uni student but have never had to show a student card or had any issues redeeming offers without it before so hopefully Hungry Jack's will be the same again. Seems like so long as you have the app and can show them the voucher on your phone then that will be sufficient, it does not specify you need to show a student ID like my local Grill'd deal does.

If you click the box icon under the HJs logo, it brings up locations.
Many stores will be 1. ask cashier 2. cashier will say 'I need Manager authorisation, hold on' and ask Shift Manager 3. Shift Manager will say 'we aren't a participating store'. My local HJ's (Roxburgh Park, VIC) are a disgrace; they do this all the time with offers. I'm sure they aren't the only ones.
Thats my local store too, got them to accept it once. Second time round they told me they dont accept it. Even apart from the vouchers not being accepted they don't know what they're doing half the time, good luck trying to get hot food from them
ooh, an upgrade from $3 Bacon Deluxe, but not as good as free Bacon Deluxe.
My local isn't participating. I'll try anyway, if they don't I'll be forced to get two for Tuesday's whoppers. :D

Edit: They said that it's been on the system for weeks now, but previously came up with 'invalid item' or something. They also said their system just says Bacon Deluxe Burger (doesn't mention chips). The staff member was cool about it and honoured it with no problems at all.
The previous deal within the app was for a $3 Bacon Deluxe Burger, that's why it would of been in their system for ages.

I just went to claim it at a participating store and they were up in arms how there is no 'redeem' button or voucher number etc , and it wasn't on their system and they would make an exception just this one time.
More hassle than it's worth!Yeah I've found if you push the staff member it can be done. I think when the deal is new it takes a bit of time to filter through the ranks so they know what to do. I've got all the time to wait there while they work it out though! Usually ok after a few days.

Same thing happened to me at the Hungry Jacks on Bowen Bridge Rd in Brisbane and they couldn't find a voucher on the system therefore I had to pay normal price.

went around to all the HJS i could find the local area, they said they dont know about the deal and wont honor it.

Used it just now. Worked like a charm at HJ's in ACT. $3. Bacon deluxe and fries. Just like pockitpal promised. Unbelievable. I also found a whole onion ring in my fries. Great day.
$3 more expensive than unbelievable (but at least you get fries over the chance to get just a bacon deluxe for free).

redeemed fine at my closest hungry jacks, it was on the PoS system as PokitPal something, so I'm sure if your store is in the list and they claim they cant find it, they just cant be bothered. The girl on the register did require a hand to find it but it's in the system.

Mayonnaise is like half the fat content of a Whopper.
It is not a whopper, but that's a healthy call and should help balance the calories from the added fries!

The Bacon Deluxe has a smaller diameter than the Whopper.
The cheese is worse than the mayo, in the bacon deluxe the two slices of cheese are accounting for a large portion of saturated fat, mayo has less saturated fat in comparison.
If you don't want to consume the nutrition in the food, perhaps you shouldn't be purchasing it at all, or something else in lieu of this.
Otherwise you could do more exercise to balance the extra energy.
