Single Day Pass Dreamworld $50 @ Harkhark Travel

80

1 Day single pass Gold Coast Dreamworld $50 through HarkHark. I have used this deals site* and unlike the others they give you all contact details, phone & address and they have very helpful customer service**. They have 14 x $50 tickets left. Discount given after adding to cart. FYI date of use must be nominated. I found this a good deal as I am going to Brisbane in just over a week and don't have time to do more than 1 day on the GG and I don't know that I will be going back to Qld before June next year, so I don't want to buy a 3 park deal for $89 or even $80.

*This is a deal and a plug for the site as I was impressed with their service.
**first contact with customer service didn't go so well due to language barrier but another rep contacted me and they really went all out to help me. They even called me to let me know the DD payment had arrived.

  • It's showing as $95 now, OP. Am I missing something?

      Am I missing something?

Perhaps the part where OP said "Discount given after adding to cart." I just tried it and it works as described.

Ah yes, thank-you. Once I registered and got the "You already login in!" message, I added to cart and… all good!

Looks like they have similar deals for Seaworld and Movie World as well.

Three theme parks + extra for $80 @ Groupon?

    • What's your question/point?

    • Yes, that is a good deal but for me it wasn't as I am not going to do 3 parks in one day.

      • You don't need to go there in one day, that is annual pass ticket

        • Yes, I know, but I don't live in Qld and I have no plans to go to Qld apart from the week I intend to spend there quite soon, in which I have only one day to go to the Gold Coast. Hence the annual pass is no good for me.

  • I just bought this and I got a call from them in Mandarin. So they presume this website is mainly for Chinese customers.
You'll need to call them before going so they can produce the ticket for you.

    • I got my call in english, and the website is in mainly english, but yes it's definitely got that asian feel. The ticket is an e-ticket which you print or present on smartphone at Dreamworld. Did they tell you that you need to call them as they didn't tell me that?

      • Maybe cus my name was Chinese sounding :)

They told me you need to call them to produce the actual ticket before going.

        • I just rang to confirm, it's an e ticket which they email to you and you print out for access to Dreamworld (in this case). Maybe you lost something in the translation, how is your mandarin anyway? ;D

        • @Nynaeve:

Understanding is ok spoken is poor. I asked her if I could speak English to her and that's what they told me in English :P

Is that just that email with the receipt id that you need to provide them ?

        • @Kaboda: No they will send you the ticket in a day or so. The lady I spoke to said I would get it tomorrow morning.

    • It's not immediately obvious from the link but HarkHark is definitely Chinese (as in the language, not necessarily the country). Some/many parts of their website has English versions, such as this deal for the Dreamworld tickets, but definitely not all. For example, look at their Contact Us page. Their facebook page has very little English content.

I knew of them from about a year ago when they were involved in a local Taiwanese Festival event, but I think at that time there was very little English content.

      • I thought the name was familiar when I discovered the website, maybe that is where I heard of it. They are situated in Australia, and their deals are mainly Qld based, that might change too in the future. Anyway for me, their customer service was very good and the deal was exactly what I was looking for, 1 day 1 Park for as little $ as possible.

  • Just an update for those that bought tickets and haven't been yet. Turns out you have to line up in the 'International group' queue. The ticket is 1 Day for Dreamworld and Whitewater World also you get a ticket for 1 visit to the Skypoint observation deck with a free Coffee/Tea/Soft Drink/Juice. The Skypoint is in Surfers Paradise and the Skypoint ticket (only) can be used up to 7 days from the day you go to Dreamworld. Pretty Good for $50.

*Just to clear up earlier confusion you can email or phone the date you plan to go, or add the details when you buy the ticket.
** I went today and did all 3. I'm knackered now.
