It is a better deal compared to the 10 cans for some people. If I'm going to a party I'd like to carry a 6 pack cider. You are right about ml/$ thing. You will may be save 10 cents per bottle. Else 6 packs are convenient for carrying :)
it's about the same price as the $18 pack of cans.
Per standard drink it's $1.384615384615385 for the cans, $1.388888888888889 for these bottles.prefer bottles… so what call me a primadonna! :)
The bottle is actually 1.17 standard drinks while the can is 1.33 so you're losing around 5% due to rounding error.
Bottle - $1.42 per standard drink
Can - 1.35 per standard drinkSo you get 5.22% more from the cans which is more than you can get from scanning your MeBank card.

The original deal is a list of multiple items and the item is not contained in the title of the original deal

It came up as 16.99 in total column, but at the bottom it should say

Yes logged in under My Dan Murphys, but I don't see Promotional Discount anywhere. I've also tried clicking "Checkout" but still showing $16.49
note its not just being registered I found out you need to have the card I think and since I didn't follow it through last time I just told them to give me a new one by subscribing to a new card, after that it worked

I had scrumpy cider once in this old pub. They tapped it out of a big barrel that they had thrown all the old apples into and pulped them. There were dead worms swimming around in it. After two glasses of it my lips went numb and after a couple more it was like getting hit over the head with a house brick. I was flat on my arse on the back porch throwing up bits of apple and worm. Not sure how this is relevant to the deal. Best to ignore it.

It's a good deal if you only had the option of the 6 pack, but considering you can get 10 cans of the same thing for $18 it's not that good at all.
Edit: Also taking into account the cans are 375ml compared to the bottles which are only 330ml it's actually not a good deal at all. In a ml/$ scenario it's still more cost effective to buy the cans.
