Kind of would make more sense just to add AAA to the title of the other post then make two.

Monty can't help but to seize an opportunity to make it to the front page.

        • @Dagmar: GAHHHH I meant to click + but I negged. Sorry. Can someone help me out??

        • @Dagmar:

The good 'ol copy paste deal. por qué no los dos?

        • +1

          @cvas: why dont you un-neg?

        • @jaybmate: Didn't know you could? How is that done?

        • +1

@cvas: hit votes, then hit ban sign next to your vote. Note, you cant +1 thier comment after that, only just remove your neg.

      • +16

but this post is for AAA batteries and the post you mensioned is for AA Batteries.

        Same store,
        Same product,
        Same price,
        Same sale.

        Just different SIZES

        This is a DUPE

        • -4

          Your posts are always dupes

  • +2

Reported this, but other post is AA, not AAA, my bad!

    • Me too…
      Sorry monty!

    • +16

Reported this, but other post is AA, not AAA, my bad!

So next time someone posts a sale of Van Heusen shirts, we should post a different deal for every different size available ?

      • -3

I don't care, the more deals the merrier, I'm gonna look at them all anyway.

      • +2

Agreeing with jv here. This is setting precedence for future deals. It will be interesting to see what happens when people post deals of similar nature.

  • 4pkx16

    I think you mean 4pkx19

    • Thanks greenpossum, post updated.

      • Maybe just drop that since the allowed quantity seems to vary.

  • Does this mean $0.1225 per cell when click and collect?

What are shelf dates like lately on these?

    Any problems with leakage?

    • All dry cell batteries leak if you leave them in a device too long without use.

      • +3

Sure, but some are better than others.

I found the Coles branded ones a few years ago had problems even when unopened and close to the use before date.

    • I bought 11 packs of each (AA / AAA) from Gunghalin and they were all July 2019 expiry as per the blister card.

  • Are these better than the eneloops

    • +1

They're just regular batteries, so no.

  • +4

You can actually buy more than 11 of each (AA and AAA)
    I bought 12 of each.
Just increase the quantity count from your cart before checkout and it will let you go past 11. Didn't try more than 12.

  • Thanks OP. Was able to order 20 packs from my local shop.

  • They only allow 8 now!

    EDIT: Bourke St Store

EDIT2: Seems unlimited @ Emporium. Only limited myself to 12 though :)

  • Also got 20 of each from my local.

  • It's not cheap if it's already expiring

    • +2

The ones I bought recently expired 2019

  • Calamvale QLD 4116 - nil stock.
Browna plains QLD 4118 - in stock

  • Sold out for postcode 2121 or 2165.
Otherwise postage add $7+, not worthwhile
Do you know which DS still has stock?

  • Ordered c&c successfully. Recieved call from store advising no stock. Refunded. Oh well. Worth a shot. Thanks op

  • Still stock in Point Cook VIC

  • They could just add "or AAA" to the previous post title and it'd have saved this deal being posted. I actually agree with JV for once.

  • Leave the E out of battery and they are more expensive

    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/reduced-to-clear/fujitsu-alkline…

    • +1

E is for economical in this case.

      Nice find.

    • +1

But those are different batteries, they use the alkline chemistry. ;)

  • Thnx

  • +3

Just received mine (11 of each). All have an expiry of July 2019.

:EDIT: Received as in I've picked them up in store*

  • My order got cancelled and I got refunded today. I called their call centre and they said they didn't have any stock. I actually got an email a couple of days after placing my order saying it was ready to be picked up but when I rocked up to the store they guy said they had none and I had to wait.

    Not happy :(
