I purchased this TV from the GG - Ebay deal for $1,226 in late June and on all levels it works great.
$1626 - $300 ebay - $100 eftpos gift card = $1226
I don't think a gift card can be constituted as a reduction in price. Unless the changeover was actually $1226 and not $1326.
Is this a real discount or did they put it up a few days ago to drop it today ?

Harvey Norman had it for $1620 during their weekend sale so this is fairly decent. Not as good as Dean04's price though!
I got this for 999$ from binglee around december and was the 6400 version which is 3d also…

I think that may have been the H series from last year which was an excellent TV and deal. The 6400 this year is an UHD tv I'm pretty sure.
I think that was still around the time when electronics didnt take the hit with the dollar falling.
Anyone know how this compares to the Sony w800c? Apparently input lag is 44ms compared with Sony's 37.6ms but response time is only 7ms against 17ms.
Anyone with either tv able to comment if they've had issues with sports or gaming
