Anyone seen any good deals on these? I only have the one at the moment and it is a retractable one with a flat cable, I was looking for something about the 1-1.5m length and braided to connect the NUC to the monitor. I prefer a cable rather than an adapter (adapters are relatively easy to find).

Unless you like to look at your hdmi cables regulary (or show them off to friends and family) or continually stress them by pulling them in and out of ports several times a day, you really need not be concerned woth quality.
They either work or they dont.
So in summary:
good quality = cable that works

I am actually stuck in the position where the one monitor is used with a few different things so the HDMI cable will be unplugged a few times a week. I've had the current one fuzz out on me a few times requiring an unplug/replug so I am keen to get something more reliable.
Buy an HDMI switchbox to prevent that need. HDMI plugs don't cope well otherwise. The actual gold-plating on the contacts of quality cables (as opposed to gold-coloured nickel on many) still scrapes off after a few insertions into a socket.
If you really want braided mini HDMI cables, I can remember seeing them on the likes of DX.
