i got this card a few years back with 20,000 qf pts, $1 spent per 1 pt (no cap) plus every yr they provide 2 x free lounge passes for qf
but since from Aug this year, they limit to 2500pts per statement period and got rid off the free lounge passes….
i am going to cancel my card soon even though i managed to get the annual fee waived each year..i think there are better cards out there….

Rang and cancelled the card we have had for about 5 years on the 31st due to the changes.

      • 2 points per $ for Overseas purchases now gone to.

I just changed from them as well as the changes absolutely stink!
    I went to ANZ Black.

Please put annual fee in the title.

been with them for ages, and they started introducing expiry on reward points without telling the customer, slowly they remove the points I've accumulated for more than 10 years. Been contacting their customer service, supervisor etc, and they don't give a s$%^t, going to ombudsmen now.
Worst customer service ever. Stay away.

  • These guys suck, customer service is rude and not helpful. I applied for the 0% BT for 8 months about 6 weeks ago, every week they call me back and ask me to jump through more hoops. Gave up this morning and withdrew my application.

    Not worth the hassle.

Erm post is missing rather crucial info of $199 annual fee!

    • Ah now added by hamza23 I see :)

Agree with above comments about terrible customer service. I would stay away and avoid the headaches. I had a Platinum card with 30,000 pts offer from previous deal, I called and asked for fee to be waived for following year. Instead they transferred me to a fee free card, cancelled my old card without my permission, so I lost all my points (worth $150). Still trying to get my points back…have spent about 3 hours on the phone so far, bloody hopeless. No kidding, stay away….you have been warned.

  • Will be cancelling soon due to recent changes…not worth it. Any suggestions for a card that provides QFF passes with a reasonable fee??

  • "Earn 1 Qantas Point3 per $1 spent up to $2,500 per statement period" … hold me back please.
Or get 50k QF points for spending $3k on a credit card and not pay 1 cent in fees or charges *yes you have to pay the $3k back), then cancel the card once the points credit.

  • anyone know have advise on how to find out how many points is needed for an overseas trip to the USA for example, on first class upgrade, I've read the points are best used for upgrade.

If someone can point me to a guide of something like the whirlpool forum for prepaid mobile, would be great.

Would like to work it all out before applying for cards to get enough point for a trip away!

  • do you earn any points for ato payments ?

  • NAB, westpac, ANZ and CBA have always been offering $0 annual fee for bonus points.

  • No annual fee waiver for me is a deal breker

  • what is the "eligible purchase"?
