    Two things to be aware of.

    1) Many of these items will be very cheaply made products. The shirts and shorts were 100% polyester, even though they looked like cotton.
    2) Many of the brands they stock have been bought out by SD, for example Karrimor. Don't be fooled into thinking that the brand quality is still there. (Except Karrimor SF range)

    Having said that, the 20 workout clothes i bought are lasting fine.

      After reading your comment I went ahead and googled the products, and most of the results show that these clothes are available on European/UK websites.
      Applying currency conversion reveals that you are really saving no more than $10 off from some 'sale items'

      I'd also like to add that my last order took two months to arrive after ordering. Kmart (same sort of quality as SD) is just 10 mins away…

    Sports DIrect have bought up the rights to a number of heritage sports brands (slazenger, Lonsdale etc). Its probably produced in the same place and then branded.

    This stuff is mass produced junk, think K-mart quality. As Davo states. The big store in Piccadilly Circus used to be Lillywhites, a classy store, now its a multi story tat emporium.

    False economy, this stuff is poor

    I must admit, some of the stuff is hit and miss. Was always shocked to notice the same brands at K-mart now.

    I still like the purchases I have made but will be weary about what I buy from now on.

      Do a paypal claim back as there is nothing to say it will be that much unless you chose the wrong shipping method???
