    Usually 6 issues for that price (~$50)

    So, 50/6*9 = $75

  I can't remember how it started, but I have managed to subscribe to US version few years back and have renewed through snail mail twice. Subscription leaflet in the last issue (same space tourist/pod thingy featured) I received says USD24 for 24 issues, shipping included. So, if serious about these sort of magazines, you may want to look for the US edition.
