  • Anyone used VPN unlimited? The $19 for 3 years seems like a decent deal. I'm a real novice with the details. Been looking into PIA as well, but am flexible to find the most appropriate deal.

    • I use PIA myself, and have had no problems with it, in terms of speed and functionality. Highly recommend it. Let me know if you want to join PIA via my associate link.

    • I grabbed the 3yr VPN unlimted deal a while ago. Seems to work fine for browsing. BUT they have issues with IP leaking. https://ipleak.net/

So for geo-relocatung they're fine, certainly not for hiding your IP address.

      • They also log

    • I been using VPN Unlimited. I bought the lifetime deal. Big mistake, keeps disconnecting after 30mins to an hour. Speed is quite good though

  • +1

Are these any good? No point if you can't connect half the time and when you do it doesn't go faster than 5KB per second.

  • VPN unlimited
    San fran
    Up:6.40 D:4.15 Mbps ping 343ms
    London
    Up:2.95 D:0.8 Mbps 645ms
    Singapore
    Up:4.80 D:3.65 Mbps ping 354ms

With no VPN its about Up:45Mpbs D:2Mbps for (US & UK)

  • I haven't had the need to look into these but have started thinking about it. If someone would be so kind I was wondering

    1. How cam these guys make money on lifetime deals? How do we know they will still be around?
    2. If I have 3 different appliances (eg. Tablet, phone, chromecast) and I want it to access BBC on demand, how do I get my setup to use the VPN for BBC but not for ABC iView? Do I need to manually switch my router or can I set to to route all da from certain IPs via the VPN? that done by domain?
    • Just saw your post.
      1) Yes I'm sceptical too, which is why I did the 3yr for $us19 as I doubt they'll be still around.
      2) You're better off going for a DNS service like DNS4Me or GetFLix they switch your region automatically depending ont he website (well they route you through a proxy during the initial stage so the website thinks you're in that country).
