The Laptops have been fully refurbished by Asus to the highest possible standards. They are NOT refurbished by a third party. They have been resealed with the manufacturers sticker.
The laptops are in full working order and carry a full 1Year Asus warranty.
As they are refurbished stock, there may be very minor surface marks on them and we have inspected several units and they look like new. These refurbished Notebook are re-packaged into brand new packaging (with a serial number and factory seal) , but the contents inside are in the highest possible condition.

  The HDD can be swapped out for an SSD, and the optical drive replaced with a caddy, but the memory is soldered on so limited to 4 Gig. It's a pop the keyboard access for HDD and battery access.
  Still, for the price - HDMI, 1 USB2 1 USB3 1000 baseT and Wireless N plus a plastic circle spinner/burner…

      Yep - no access ports, you pop the keyboard to access the battery and HD/DVD and the memory and CPU will be on the underside of the motherboard.

  Not bad - Rep - do you list these on Ebay? i have a 10% off voucher on Ebay at the moment, hoping to get a better price.

  Also seen the Asus X502CA for about the same price, which are lighter and faster i believe - any deal on the X502CA? I am in the market to buy a laptop in the next day or so.

  You could play CS:GO on the lowest settings with a few glitches here and there, so CS Source should work.

  Thanks for the reply, I think the F550LC-XO111H would suit me better (has GT720M 2GB card), it's $549…

  Any idea if the RAM & HDD can be swapped in the 550LC?

    Very similar with this one, but a little better CPU and brand new.
    It was $499 plus further 15% off = $424.14. Plus if you are using WISH gift card, there is another 5%.

    You can always drop to a Pentium N3540, lose the DVD and 1-1/2" of screen and get a Kogan for $10 more plus delivery.
    YMMV. When I want FHD, I plug in my 24" monitor….
