For those who missed the 40% off Shell & Valvo oil at Repco over the weekend. SCA just brought them back in their latest catalogue.
Castrol is slowing down on their Magnatec 10w-40 deal, so good time to stock up if you need this oil grade :)

Just an FYI this oil is a better product than the Castrol GTX 15W40 that is on at repco at the moment (with respect to the standards that the Shell oil meets compared to the Castrol one). I ended up buying 45ltrs of this stuff (for two cars) when repco had their 40% off deal last weekend. So I probably wont be needing engine oil. Ever.
Yep, you are comparing semi synthetic with standard dino oil here :)

Right you are. I just assumed they were both semi-syn.
Repco had a limit of 6 containers per customer, so I had to check out another repco close by. It was a tad expensive at that instant, but it works out cheaper in the long run. Also, my car has a 6 ltr oil sump :)
Wow is it a v8 or something? My cars sumps are only about 3 liters, which save so much. 2 bottles $42 / 3 times = $14 for each oil change. Cheaper than lunch :)
Funny thing tho, I dropped by Brookvale NSW store today and their price was $20.15, so almost another $2 off the promotion price.
2 per customer (per store)… lol.
I have a car that takes 10w40 so I stock up on this, still have 15L or so or enough for 4 and a bit oil changes
