Canon Maxify MB2360 Printer - $70.64 after $80 Cashback (Is $150.64) @ Dick Smith

120

Hey all,

As part of Canon's new Maxify series they're offering a cashback of up to $100 on their new models, and in this case it's the Canon Maxify MB2360 with an $80 Cashback through their website.

And as part of Dick Smith's "Clear-out" they have the Maxify currently for $150.64 pickup (I just price-matched in-store because I'm lazy), with the $80 cashback this brings this down to a whopping $70.64. They retail for $249, and they are currently promoted in the catalogue and in-store for $199.

I just got my cashback approved email from Canon so it definitely works.

I figured it's a really good deal for anyone in need of a fast inkjet for their home business, or school.

  • Looks like the replacement I need for the family printer!

"Because it’s Wi-Fi enabled, you can connect to the MB2360 using its 3-inch colour touchscreen or by using MAXIFY Cloud Link, Google Cloud Print or Apple Air Print on your smartphone, tablet or computer."

I've seen printers advertised as "Air Play ready" but you still have to have an AirPlay device to print to it from an iPhone/iPad. Any experts out there that can say whether this one will/won't be able to have an iDevice print to it?

  • can anybody please let me know, how much cost a cartridge ?

    • Black XL (1200 Pages) - $43
      Colour XL (900 Pages) - $32 x3

      Black (400 Pages) - $35
      Colour (300 Pages) - $22 x3

Roughly around those prices, might be able to be found cheaper.

  • Nearly pulled the trigger and then found out that it can't do borderless photo printing! WTF not Canon??? It ticks pretty much every other box of what I need in a printer, but I don't want it if I still have to keep my old printer going…

  • +1

Doesn't do duplex printing either (only on the MB5360). Can't decide.

    • It does, just not single pass duplex like the 5360.

      • Yeh but when you're printing more than a few pages and wanting to save the forests, it does become a pain.

      • what is single pass?

Does anyone know if this supports CISS ink refill?

    • Hi, We are Due to release a CISS for this Printer very shortly

  • Price wasn't updated as of this morning so managed to get it for about $125 with today's code. So should make it $45 after cash back.
