I am trying to look for an External Hard disk, it doesn't matter if it is 2.5" or 3.5". Or even if it is cheaper to buy a hdd enclosure and buy a hdd to put in.
I have spotted the jb-hi-fi had a 1TB for $125(seagate). Does anyone know any better deals, is 1TB a good buy?

if you actually want to easily take it places, get a 2.5 inch.
They're powered by the usb data cable.
3.5 inch drives need 12V though so have a power brick which is often almost as big as the drive!
Well for an extra $23 you can get a WD Elements with an extra 0.5TB at Big W at the moment:

2.5" are compact and usually don't require any external power supply, however they cost a little more than the 3.5" alternatives and they don't really get any bigger than 500GB at the moment. Just something to be wary of.
StaticIce and MSY are good to check for this kind of product, and if it's an enclosure you want then also have a look at DealExtreme.
Remember that Officeworks offers to beat a lower price by 5% so as long as it's the exact same product.
