is it a USB 3.0 Drive?
because its no deal because you can get USB2.0 cheaper at AUSPOST
    http://catalogue.auspost.com.au/offer/usb-flash-drives/sandi…

    • His drive is with encryption the sandisk one is a normal USB stick

  • Hi tuzii

As per dosada, totally different products. This is a secure hardware encrypted 3.0 64GB USB Flash Drive.

"The Imation Secure™ + Hardware Encrypted Flash Drive is an easy-to-use, trouble-free way to protect your most sensitive data, even if the drive is lost or stolen.
•Advanced security protects all data with built-in, “always-on” AES 256-bit encryption
•All files and directories remain private and secure"

  • The limitations for private sellers on eBay are 3 months from first sale, 25 sold items and minimum $2500.- in sales. Your feedback is already 18, i guess you would have the $2500.- by now so just the 3 months are left.

  • They've actually jumped me up quicker due to 100% feedback and sales which is great so have considerably more now. They do make you work for it though!

    Sorry guys, it's 2.0

    • That is omitted from your title and description. Were we supposed to guess?

      • USB2.0 makes it more secure against bruteforce.

On that note, I can't seem to find the FIPS-140 rating for this model.

        • I can't tell if you're serious? AES-256 would take literally billions of years to brute-force with current computing technology, ie. 2^255 keys (as you only need to check about half of all possible keys).

  • Hi Lukian, I think this may be what you're after. Follow http://csrc.nist.gov/groups/STM/cmvp/documents/140-1/1401val… Item #2359 - Imation. These items are AES 256 bit encryption. Cheers

FIPS Approved algorithms: AES (Certs. #1412 and #2559); SHS (Certs. #1282 and #2158); HMAC (Certs. #1577 and #1579); RSA (Certs. #688 and #1311); Triple-DES (Cert. #965); Triple-DES MAC (Triple-DES Cert. #965, vendor affirmed); RNG (Cert. #774); PBKDF (vendor affirmed)
