As Store Rep hung861988 requested, some updates as below.

@5:26PM: All VIC, QLD and SA branches should have plenty of stock (more than 50+ each branch). NSW and WA all sold out but they can do back-order at special price.
If you come to branches and they do not have stock for you, just leave your contact details and their team will organize back-order for you @ $33. They will fulfill all back-order next Monday.

Part of their Weekend Deals, thought it is a good price for this fast usb3.0 flash drive.
Not a bad price for Logitech G930 too.

  I back-ordered the 64gb Sandisk Extreme from MSY Auburn on Sat 22 Aug 15, and I still haven't received a call from them as promised for last Wednesday.

  Does back-ordering work at MSY, anyone ??? or does the customer have to chase them up ?

  Back order for the USB stick was in quick at the MSY Balcatta store. Things are improving since the last time I tried to place a backorder on a special. I didn't have to chase them up. Perhaps it just depends on the store, maybe chase up with the MSY OzBargain rep. Not sure how MSY operates … franchises or independently owned. Hopefully there is some corporate group ensuring that basic standards are implemented between the stores.
