Just moved house so we are in the very painful process of waiting for our naked dsl line to get connected.
What's a cheap way to get 3G/4G data? We have a Vodafone USB dongle which I think is unlocked. I was hoping g to find some cheap clearance prepaid sims that have data at a much better than the standard rate of $10/GB

I've cancelled our 4g internet for a month, it's an as you go plan so we can reconnect when we choose. Signed up for a 1 month amaysim plan, then change payment type to bpay/voucher so it doesn't autorenew. You'll get 5gb for $15, 6gb if you spend your $10 referal credit on a 1gb data pack.
Hey, thanks for the suggestion. That's is a really good price, but are you able to cancel easily? I think our internet should be connected by late next week hopefully, so it might not be worth getting the amaysim one since you have to order online and then wait for it to get delivered?
I was hoping to find some clearance sim that I could just pick up from coles, something like that 8gb bonus sim with the Vodafone WiFi dongle that was on here a few days ago though that may have been something you could only get with that dongle.
Maybe grab a $2 Optus Starter Kit (Includes 1 day credit) and recharge it as required.
With Prepaid Daily Plus $2/day will get you 500MB data/day, also unlimited calls & text if that matters.
If you just need it for a week then it will cost $2 for starter kit + $2 x 6 days = $14 (3.5GB)
There are other better deals online but most of them require waiting for delivery.
Otherwise you can get this if you can find it in your local post office.
