  • It's worth checking their latest catalogue in-store - it's listed there for $63 somewhere in the middle!!

  • Bought them this morning at qvb Sydney store at 9am. It came up as $134 but the guy honoured the catalogue price I showed him as well as the sticker marked on the product.

  • Picked up 4 at Penrith round lunch today for $63 each. It was advertised for $149 instore and also scanned for $149 at checkout but they honoured the catalogue price.

  • Lol guys, walking under the rain is totally worth my effort. Picked up 2 for $63 each haha. Thought they know bout the price error but they even surprised "wow that's a lot cheaper". Happy with my purchases haha

    • Where did you get yours??

      • Preston JB

        • Nice, theres no point calling they will tell you 134 if you call. Have to go instore and hope you get lucky haha

        • Haha, yeh, I was pretending that I know nothing, just a normal shopper. Was almost having heart attack at the checkout counter. But finally can walk out with a big smile!!!

  • +1

I picked up 2 sometime after 6pm. They had heaps, but the only price everywhere was $149. I asked someone and showed them the ad. They looked it up and said it was the correct one etc and printed out a slip for 2 of them at $63 each. As I was paying, I saw a big sign at the end of the counter about the price error, oops. Tried not to look at it and it was all fine.

Felt a bit bad, but if they can't even be bothered to put up a notice on the wall where the speakers are hanging, then that seems pretty slack.

Lastly, I've never had one of these small portable speakers before, but $149 feels like a total ripoff anyway, I mean it's able to fill a small room and it's not bad for the size (or the discounted price!), but come on. A lot of them seem to be around $200 though, so I guess that's the market rate for these things.

Edit: after using it for a while, it's actually pretty impressive. Went a lot louder on my phone than my wife's too. Full volume on hers is like half on mine. Will be interesting linking them up when baby is not asleep. Got a black and a red BTW.

    • If you use the UE app, you can use the double up function.

They are more expensive because of the waterproof feature. but I wont pay $149 for it.

  • picked up my for $63 @ Brisbane city store, plenty stocks available =) but I bought the last blue one :p

  • Guys,
I just bought 4 of these today @ $63 from JB Hifi Sydney CBD. Marked $149 but they honored the catalogue at the register. I would scan my receipt but I don't know how…

    • Receipt for this would be good. The people at Broadway refuses to budge and even said they called around other stores including CBD and they can't do it.

      Try http://tinypic.com/ ?

      • The strand arcade store was fine. Go there. I called them before i purchased and they said it was ok.

      • Yea, as per yesterdays comment. Broadway and JBHIFI Home Pitt Street refused to do it. Strand Arcade was the only one out of the three i tried that did.

  • Well it might be a price error, but jb did it for me today, though that's only when i told them that i staffer had also stated the price @ $63.

Sounds pretty good - serious volume.
Back rubber waterproofing flap looks like it might flip out without much encouragement, but apart from that it's fine.

Beats any other crap bluetooth speaker i've ever had.

I don't know why the packaging only says "Made for iPod iPhone iPad" and that's it.
Bluetooth is bluetooth - works on my Android fine.
