150
AUGM124

You can get around the goget sign on fee a number of ways but the $75 credit is a nice sweetner. Note you need to put deposit of $500 down as a member and it is only the initial membership fee that is waved. Cancel before 12 months to avoid annual fee. Code expires at the end of August.

Use code AUGM124 during online sign up.

They are also offering $100 rental for Fathers day weekend.

Otherwise $85 for a day rental is the flat rate.

For all those wondering what this is(/to lazy to go to their website), it's a car sharing service, where you are able to use a number of cars from a network around the city.

"Why own a car when you can GoGet!

GoGet gives you all the benefits of a car, without the hassle and expense of owning one!

As a member, you have access to a network of new cars parked locally, which saves you time and money and helps reduce congestion and pollution on our roads!"
Edit: I'm dumb and didn't notice the company name at bottom.

    • ReLly interested to learn from people who use it.
$85 a day - in my mind, not much cheaper.
also, plus membership, plus money upfront. Any better than hire a car?
what happens if on day like Xmas that everyone wants it?

      • Generally you get it on an hourly rate and only use it for the time you need it. $85 is if you take it for the full day. Rates are here: http://www.goget.com.au/rates/

Personally I prefer Hertz247 as their per km additional charge is rolled up in their hourly rate. Less cars though.

  • Is it safe to assume that you don't have to do a whole day rental? Can I book the car for a few hours as needed?

    • Yes, minimum 1 hour, in blocks of 30 minutes.

  • flexicar is much better…free petrol and only charge for hours…NO KM charge
