      • +1

Yeah, asked them to swap it out for another colour and they had no problem to do so! :)

        • I still haven't recived my SMS/email.
Should i just go to the store and check?

        • Swapped to the collage blue as its easier to keep clean than the white. Black and blue steel were out of stock 3 dses I checked

    • Lucky! The store i was meant to collect mine from didn't have the colour, wouldn't let me take a different colour and made me drive to a different store to collect…..not impressed at all DS!

  • I bought this last week http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Monster-SuperStar-High-Definition…, but still has not delivered and also bought this logitech today, couldn't resist. but i want to keep one, so any idea which one would be the best choice?

    • Seems like you are the only one who bought it since 20 Aug. I would say return it and stick with the logitech.

    • LOL..wth is that ?definitely this Logitech one…

    • Nice paid for advertisement. Skrillex wont be dropping any bass on that because the ue boom has no bass.

  • +1

Used it for a day and my first impressions coming from the miniboom is that the bass has a bigger presence and is much fuller than the mini. Maximum attainable volume while retaining clarity is also much better. However, not much improvement in the trebles, mid-high range the miniboom does a pretty good job as it is. As I normally use my miniboom for mostly unplugged or bass-less music situated in the corner wall of my rather echoey (bouncy) living area which already helps with the acoustics, the audible improvement for me personally wasn't as significant.

after received my ue boom yesterday, i played a few of my music collections through it. i was not impressed by the results.

the bass is quite strong, as if now days logitech only focus on bass alone. the treble is pretty week, the whole sound is not very clear in the music i listens (more soft, more musical instrument plays). it sounds like as if the unit is under a big pillow.

i guess for temporary music player, it will be fine, but if you want clear sound instead of just plain mussy bass, then ue boom may not suit you.

      …its $99…………………

      • +1

        That's a lot of money.

as a BT speaker, it definitely holds it weight. Not many in this price and class can boast the sound it reproduces. take for instance the BOSE equivalent which I've used extensively alongside my miniboom, which is more than double the price but the output is absolute rubbish. And then there are some serious audiophile gear out there that this SHOULDN'T be compared to, apples & oranges.
