Spotted this spindle on clearince in-store at Officeworks (as per receipt), but it also *appears* to be available online in both DVD+R and DVD-R variants:

Equates to $0.15c per disc, and the normal retail price for this is about $46.
There were only about 5 packs left at the Brisbane CBD store, but hopefully it's a similar story at Officeworks everywhere.
Which store did you go to? It's really an in-store bargain as we've had trouble with their online clearance items previously…

Upon seeing this page I went to my local store and they're still on the shelf at near $50. Got my order in though about 45 minutes ago.
Try having them scanned at the checkout - you might be pleasantly surprised.
Well the non-printable were still $46, if its the exact same hopefully they'd be willing to honour the online price as they have previously.

the DVD+Rs were definitely available online initially as i bought some. not sure about the -Rs.

I actually tried to get these yesterday (before this was posted) and neither would go through for me…
Understand, your point is clearer now, but some have , so they did have stock unless the ones who said they were are OW sockpuppetters. And you miss the point the poster never said it was an online special only (i checked all the revisions as a mod and each said it "appears" to be available on line - the revisions show the "" were added later)
Also OW clearance is nationwide, so if you are in VIC you might find some whereas if you are in NSW you may not. As they deliver sometimes the same day, you can deduce that they are supplying from a local warehouse , so if that warehouse (like a store) runs out you cant get it.
I live in the Gosford/Wyong area and there were none available when I tried, Bahoogas is in Sydney and got some Videooman also got some in NSW

@[Deactivated]: Yea and I was actually quoting the online only thing from OW website and that is what a guy at a store told me when I rang. My negative was more to office works, which I thought was clear with "Thanks to the poster anyways… but seriously office works… clean up your act". They need to get a stock system in like DSE, so customers can see why they can't buy something and can have a look if maybe they can go to different store. I stand by my negative for officeworks…
Its a CLEARANCE - its sold out theres no guarrantee with clearance they will have tons of stock.
And if you READ the post the poster says "appears" to be online, which is correct as some here got the deal. And some may have ordered 10 or some other multiple, so they cleared out the clearance.
Personally I think the negative vote isnt appropriate, or are you saying that limited offers shouldn't be posted at all? So who gets told, so much for sharing any bargains.

I got the last pack of DVD-Rs from my local OW for $14.25 earlier today. The packaging of these ones are slightly different to the $46-odd priced ones - the $14.25 packaging has the word 'Printable' written multiple times across the packaging, whereas the ~$46 version doesn't.

Whilst i was in OW today, i took both the DVD-R and +R spindle to the counter to get them to scan it and check to see if they were selling at $14.25, but alas, they scanned at $46. Obviously these were the non-printable marked version. I don't believe they had the printable marked version in my local store (milton, brisbane).
Yeah I saw multiple spindles of the ones which didn't have 'Printable' marked…and one which did. I was curious and so, compared the two product's barcodes, which turned out to be different. So I just took the spindle with 'Printable' marked to the counter without asking to check for the price and behold, $14.23.
I'm still looking for the DVD+Rs though, seeing as one of my devices only accepts DVD+Rs.
