  • Thanks Rep :)

  • hi Rep,

there is a lot of fake sd cards being sold online. Can you please confirm such an issue will not occur with your stock ?

    • +1

All of our memory card stock are directly supplied by authorized distributor with genuine retail unless specified.

Fake card seller won't last for long, it will be found easily.

      • thanks.

is free shipping only applicable to August Madness Clearance items or all items ?

and does the Samsung Micro SD cards come with an adapter ? if not, would any other branded adapter work on the samsung sd cards ? I have a sandisk adapter.

        • +1

free shipping offer only for some of the items in August Madness Clearance

It didn't come with the SD Adapter. It worked with most of the SD Adapter (e.g. SanDisk Adapter)

  • Hi Rep,

Do you have any deals for Samsung EVO and EVO Plus for 128GB?

    Thanks

    • I am working on it, will get back to you later

      • Thanks Rep.
Hope to hear from you soon… Hopefully today :)

    Hi Rep,

Any deals on Sandisk Extreme microsdxc 64GB? (Not Pro)

    Thanks

  • weird how they claim its legit.

Usually the Samsung Evo comes with SD Card adapter. Well at least all the 32gb and 64gb ones i have bought.

    Caveat Emptor…

"Let the buyer beware" - if you search the past deals, you'll find they're good.
ShoppingSquare has been selling memory cards for a long long time, most of my cards are from them. I got a Samsung EVO Micro SD 32GB without adapter from another reputable shop - exactly as the rep shown in the link.

      • Jamesx have you benchmarked your cards? what sort of speeds are you getting on crystal disk mark? Mine's getting 30+MB/s read, 20+MB/s write on the Seq and 512k tests.

also they are the made in korea/mexico only. Mine were made in korea.

anyways these are pretty end of the line, the Evo+ cards have been out for quite a while now…

        • I do have some IT intellegence. I dont benchmark the cards unless they dont do what they suppose to.
I put these evo in my dash cam, mobile and normal cameras, as long as they do the job, that's it.
point and shoot is enough for me, memory is more important than exposure, depth, colour, shutter speed etc. , done my SLR in black and white many years ago, don't have time to edit, would rather spend time to do something else, plus looking back all the photos and the happy time instead.

You're being stupid. Not everyone needs an SD card adapter, so they sell the one without the adaptor for a cheaper price.

64 GB (48 MB/s) for $28 is not end of the line. They're microsd cards not motherboards. They'll be on the shelves for a few more years.

  • what's the warranty on the evo cards ? shopping square website says 1 year but the samsung website says 10 years ?

    http://www.samsung.com/au/consumer/memory-storage/memory-car…

    • +2

ShoppingSquare offer 1 Year back to base warranty service. Buyers always can claim the warranty service directly from manufacturer during the warranty period listed on the product's terms.

  • Thanks. Bought a 64gb Evo

  • Do you have to make an account to place an order?
    Edit looks like you do.

    • not familiar with power banks. can you please elaborate ?

    • +1

I'm not back them, but what's wrong with the 5000 mibank?
they always use high RRP from when they first release the model.
It's OZB, who would buy things compare with RRP? you buy it only when it's the historical low price or lowest you can get at the time you need it.

    • -2

RRP is no where near that.

  • Any chance of a normal size SD card 128gb with UHS-1 U3 rating?
    Cheers like Sandisk Extreme pro

    • Why not use a Micro-SD adapter? Does this effect speed or something?

      • +1

i was just wondering the same. I have a new camera that has a normal SD slot, is there any performance or price difference between the same card in SD or microSD forms?

  • +1

    Whoa… This isn't even TightArsed…

  • Got a 64gb, Thanks.

  • Any deals on sandisk extreme pro sd/micro sd cards? Thanks

  • I couldn't wait for any deal on the 500gb samsung evo SSD, and just decided to go ahead and Amazon it. $50 cheaper than MSY.

I read these samsung evo threads with a sense of dread, knowing a great deal will pop up any second.

    • This is the sdcard not an ssd. Completely different product with completely different technology.

  • +1

I would buy but last time shopping square…. didn't get my order last time for 64gb micro sd. They said they sent a replacement, did not get second one, correct shipping details and all. Just gave up on it.

  • +1

Day 9 since dispatch of my order from your HK warehouse. Only realised it wasn't local stock after getting the dispatch email. Would've bought locally instead if your website was more honest about where your items were shipped from before taking my money.

  • Is there a way to check where the item is coming from?I ordered the 32gb samsung evo card but it didn't say where the stock is… I would prefer aus
    stock.

    • Did you buy this $15.95 Samsung EVO 32GB card? (The one that has an Australia icon and says under the price "Shipped from Australia"?)

      • Yea that's the one… on the mobile site I see the aus logo just not where it says it's shipping from. Thanks!

  • What's the coupon code? 32GB is showing as $30 rather than $15.95 on the promotion page.

Might be because I'm on mobile?

    http://i.imgur.com/vjixgxW.png

Even the 16gb is coming up as more than the price of 32gb in this post. Really need the 32gb because going overseas soon and the sd card in my camera stopped working the other week :( please give code asap

    • You're looking at the second promotion link that was posted in the description, SanDisk Extreme cards and Samsung 128GB.

You want the deal's link, for the $15.95 Samsung 32GB

      • Thanks man, it's taking me to some perfume list though. Link worked okay yesterday, not sure what's broken. Really want to get this card. I might have to PM the rep I think.
