$5.01 Pepsi Max 24 Pack (Best before 2/9/15) @ Big W Gungahlin (ACT)

130

Found these today while grabbing some of the $10 cases they currently have on sale, be warned though they are Best Before September 2 2015, though after trying one it seemed fine, and should be for a while.

I bought 2, and I counted at least 15 more, with more scattered around the store. Some other cases with the same expiry didn't have the discounted price, though I'm sure they would match the price.

Anyone know if this is available in Melbourne's eastern suburbs?

    • I'd like to know too! Might try to get to the shops tomorrow and see what I can find.

      • From what I've read on the forums and other deals here, big w seem to drastically lower prices when expires are approaching, so definitely keep an eye out…

  • .01 means store only special

  • I checked my locals and they are selling for 10. Solo and sunkist also the same price good deal I reckon.

Just a warning. My experience with out of date Pepsi Max is that your tongue starts to tingle. It's a bit disconcerting and makes you wonder about the chemical reactions happening.

    • This kinda reminds me of "My spider sense is tingling".

  • You would think the store wouldnt sell items past its date being a big chain. If anyone was to get sick i wouldnt risk drinking this stuff lol.
    But its ozbargain

    • The issue is buying bulk items that are close to their expiry date. Some of us can consume a carton in the 2 days before it expires and then their are the whimps… err… moderate consumers :D

      • We also need to remember the difference between "best before" and "use by":http://www.foodstandards.gov.au/consumer/labelling/dates/Pages/default.aspx
