    Im not brave enough

  • There are different size garlic breads?

    • Lunch deals contain 1/2 Garlic breads, and we also offer Normal large Garlic bread

      • +1

I have never seen any various size of garlic bread or a 1/2 garlic bread offered… maybe it's my location… maybe I have never seen a lunch deal.

Yep. Shame factor. Good pr. guess ur hoping they'll buy something as well.

Shame all you want, all your fellow oz bargainers will be reaping freebies!

"Shame factor" is why some people get freebies that others don't. Because they are "scared of other people judging them as tightasses" - I won't lie and say I have no shame, but when this rep is encouraging it, and even saying "just mention Ozbargain" then I feel no shame and I will happily do it.

  • is the bread close to expiry date? is that why you need to give it away fast lol

Nope! The franchisee is in a good mood and likes celebrating

There is nothing wrong in offering freebies if it gets people through the door. With the tight margins that these pizza huts run on, I'm amazed that they are offering something for free with no strings attached.

I'm very far from you guys so I won't be coming. But good work Pizza Hut Ashfield

Tight margins? What, you want a sloppy, thin, and tasteless pizza to cost more than $10 on a good day?

The last time I ordered a Vegetarian Pizza from PH I wanted to puke
The crust (ordered thin) was thinner than Lebanese bread it cracked during the bite. Tomato paste inconsistently rubbed across the dough, there were equivalent to 4-5 whittled mushrooms, a massive amount of onion and if you're lucky - some form of red capsicum. Olives were stale.

I threw the whole thing in the bin.

I tried the deal. The guy behind the counter said I can get it next time i come in. I wasn't in the mood to press the issue. disappointed, especially since i actually bought a pizza as well.

    • Actually? Did they run out of garlic breads or something?

      • +1

Still have heaps of stock and many happy patrons

@hakea Happy for you to grab a free garlic bread tomorrow. Not sure what happened, however I can confirm, along with the 100+ patrons that received the item that we have been giving away free garlic breads to everyone who mentioned ozbargain without any issues.
