Nespresso Pixie Titan Color - $149 after Cashback ($219 up Front, Bargainable to $209) @ The Good Guys

20

Just saw the other Nespresso Post for 15% off at David Jones. But figured I'd post this one.
Cheapest price for a non-made in China machine. If you wanted to you can bargain with them down to $209.

The ones which David Jones sells are Pixie Clip, Inissia (Made in China).
However the original Pixie is actually made in Switzerland. Reports on the web is that this machine is better and higher quality than its successor (Pixie Clip) due to the aluminium side panels instead of plastic replaceable side panels.

Cashback Information:
$70 cash redemption
$90 nespresso redemption (e.g. credit to your nespresso club account then spend on their products such as pods, cups, etc)

  • The Pixie Clip that I just bought (from Myer) is made in Switzerland, however the Aerocinno 3 that came with it is made in China

    • Ah, must have been just the wrong info online. Changed it.
The original pixie i think still better due to the aluminium side panels vs the replaceable plastic side panels. Gives it the high quality feel to the machine.

I believe the Pixie & Pixie Clips is the same in terms of internals according to the Nespresso boutique sales person.

  • I thought Titans were flesh-colored?

  • +1

I haven't really paid too much attention to the different machines themselves but are the difference in prices for machines really just down to where they are made and how much of it is plastic/metal?

When I look at the stats of machines, they aren't that much different with everyone giving the same pressure output (expected). When you look at the lower end models - say up to $350 - they all seem to work the same.
