  • The coupon code I got for vostro 20% is B8GL0F?M1GJ1FV ;) (0 instead of o andthere is 1 in beween J and F) and seems to be still valid.
It'd be a fantastic value if you can get moneybackco 7% money back as well but I doubt it would work.

    • Hi goofy456852,

The coupons were issued by the affiliate network and we have them here and so are compatible with MBC.

      Cheers,
      Steve.

      • ummm any chance of being able to use moneyco and another rewards program at once? cause with rewardscentral u need to use their link or something.

        • Its one or the other I'm afraid. 'Cause you need to use our links.

          [Edit] added claification.

      • wow so that makes it around $557 effectively which is not too bad for a dell.

  • there's no option to customise anything with the adamo? like delievery and accessories?

  • Where does it says
Vista Home Premium + Free Win7 Upgrade?

    • in the shopping cart when u add it

      • Free Upgrade Program
If you have purchased a qualifying Dell PC with Windows Vista® , you may now be eligible for a free upgrade to Windows® 7. Simply register for your upgrade, and Dell will send you a Windows® 7 DVD for easy installation.

The Adamo doesn't have a DVD-ROM…… Owh well, we'll have to figure that out then ei?

        • sell the upgrade?
or get an external dvd drive or a an internal dvd drive and an enclosure

  • The Adamo looks tempting… :x Couldn't not find any options for customising though?

    • +1

You can not customise as it is a pre-built system.

      • if u click the link to the adamo pearl u get options to customise but for the black(onyx) u get limited to a 1.4ghz (which is still better than the 1.2ghz u get in the fasttrack order) at 3K!!!!

anyway the coupon only applies to the prebuilt ones i think dell are trying to clear them?

        • Yeah the prebuilt ones are probably for the Christmas sale, which they are trying to get rid of now.

  • can someone confirm that the coupon for the adamo expires tomorrow cause on moneyback co it says it expires on the 28th

    • Checked it by adding an Adamo to my cart and applying the coupon, and says expires 28th January.

It is VERY tempting isn't it.

  • am thinking to get the adamo.. but is the spces good enuf? beauty it is…but i dont want to get somethingthat's skin deep.
and what is a solid hard drive?
    and moneyco?
sorry im new here. and a student.so will try to sve $$

    • i do believe you are refering to is a solid state hard drive (SSD) these are the next generation in computer storage using flash memory, it's lighter, faster and uses less electricity than convensional hard drives. the main point of this is to allow longer batter life and reduce weight on laptops.
as a student you don't really need an adamo as it's mainly aimed at those who NEED something that is light and thin. So save some of your money get get a more conventional laptop.

another downfall of laptops like the adamo is that the power under the hood is quite weak.

      • thanks for the info.

i called up all 3 dell kiosk in melbourne.all said there are no adamo on display. i went to officeworks at elizabeth st before and no stock too.
is there any store displaying it?

        • sorry cant help u there mate
but for those in sydney that wants to take a look the kiosk out at parramatta has it on display

  • that's odd on the adamo landing page it says the onyx comes in either 2.1ghz or 1.4ghz configurations and yet u can only add a precongifured system with a 1.2ghz processor…..

    • i reckon they're trying to push the fast trackmodels

      • i think it's cause they have heaps of stock left and new cpu's are coming out in february

  • Try the officeworks at Chadstone. Last time I went they had an adamo there on display.
Its walkable from Holmesglen station (on the Glen Waverley line) though I'd recommend driving :)

    • how do I go fromthe city ( melbourne central ) have notbeen there.

I would prob call officeworks up first? almost wanted to go chadstone..good thing i called dell and ask first.
