Looking for some fun activities to do with my dog. Im about an hour and a half from the city in the SE suburbs. Happy to travel - Free activities would be preferred :)

I know there's weekly dog meets for pugs in Camberwell called Pugwell. There was a Facebook group for it and I think there were some in other areas. Perhaps there's ones for other dog breeds (unless you have a pug) or you can go crash the pug party. Haha.

Carrum Beach is off lead during non-daylight savings during the day, and at limited times during the daylight savings period (before 10am). (see Kingston City Council website for details). There's a large community of dog walkers who use the beach and who we see every weekend. I have no idea of the people's names, but I know the dogs! We've been walking/swimming/playing ball there for a number of years now, and it's a lovely beach - very safe and very friendly.
