Syma X5C-1 720p Quadcopter $50.49 at Everbuying (No Transmitter)

40

Was very excited to see the Syma drone on Aldi's specials starting 12/9 (https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-sat-12-…)

I wanted to remove the post, but dont know how to as I didnt notice the 'No Transmitter' thing; which renders the price comparison to Aldi inappropriate.

Searched around and I think Aldi's Voyager is actually the Syma X5C-1 (please correct me if that is not the case). <REMOVED PRICE COMPARISON> but you will lose the peace of mind of a 60 day satisfaction returns which you get if you were buying from Aldi.

Thanks glennh70:
Transmitter: AU$ 19.32

Could akso be a copy of it. I did read The copies are not as good. The X5C is fun to fly, but I've noticed that if you make a lot if Flight changes, it begins to lag, till The quadcopter has processed alla inputs. The range is about 50m.

    You know No Transmitter, right?

    • Oops! didnt see that.. thanks.. updated

  • I too was looking for price comparisons. I think the aldi price is okay, not the best, but it's local and I don't have to wait for delivery.

The deal you linked says "No transmitter". Is the transmitter the hand controller, or is it a FPV thing?

  • Aldi are up there on refunds. But so is Telstra on Ebay who I just got a Parrot Rolling Spider drone from. After the 3rd flight there were the much talked about battery problems (1 minute flights) with the Parrot and Telstra came up with refund without further ado.

seems to be cheaper to buy the transmitter and quadcopter separately then buying it as a already built kit (AU$ 78.57)

(it doesn't mention the camera in the Package Contents, but it has to come with one, you would think)

The code "edmonly" takes US$0.67 off the price. It also takes off 20% for non-promotional items, I think valid to the 12th September (eg discount of US$2.75 on that transmitter)

  • I bought a Syma X5c one week ago for 73AUD, on ebay, shipped from sydney, so I think there are better options here.

I bought it during the last shoppingsquare special for $50. Very happy with it.

  • Tuzii the hack is extending the wire off the circuit board to exactly 125 mm from the board with copper wire, takes about 5 mins doubles the range easy.

  • Ashar yes the 11c its the longest little flyer out there. It has gear driven motors big props very stable i was that impressed I bought two It uses the same protocal as x5c so same transmitter for both
