SanDisk 32GB Extreme Plus MicroSD 80MBs $24.95 Delivered @ PC Byte

810
PLUSARSE

Apologies everyone, but we've had to expire the deal as OzB has managed to crash PC Byte's server and Fran has no IT person available to fix the issues. Will post a new deal in the morning. TA.

Plenty of requests for this card, and PC Byte has delivered again. With actual speeds faster than advertised (see review), this is the cheapest price anywhere by a fair margin. Comes complete with SD adapter. Limited to one per customer, and will be dispatched immediately from PC Byte's Sydney warehouse. Just apply coupon PLUSARSE at checkout & select free shipping. Have a great day :)

That was the Extreme. This is the Extreme Plus, which is a faster card.

Awesome deal TA, just pleading for a 64GB deal of the same card, I don't mind paying around $50 or even slightly more :)

    • +6

I must be seeing double (your comments above lol). Been trying to get 64GB & 128GB deals from both PCB & SE for the last couple of weeks, but the Aussie dollar is really killing things lately. Been fortunate that PCB had some stock of these at the old price, which they've been kind enough to pass on to you guys. Will keep trying, but no promises :)

      • Thanks tightarse, an SDXC U3 deal would be awesome. But we love you regardless :)

  • If speed isn't a priority to you (i.e. just playing music off it on your on phone), then go with the G.Skill 64GB for $24 at MSY (or if that's out of stock the Kingston 64GB for $33).

Damn, nice deal. I paid $5 more for the non-plus version a while ago, dat regret yo. I love the fast cards.

  • Don't need one, but probably should get one considering the free falling AUD.

The only currency of any value will soon be OzBargained SD cards.

PC Byte site so slow. OzBargain attacks?

Hi uzz30, we're looking into this.

  • I bought one of these https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/206186 (Sony Alpha A5000). Could one of you kind people tell me if this card is suitable or not please.

    • +2

i have the A6000 and i tried with a "less opwerfull" card and it worked ok, but it took it too long to save the pictures to the SD card after shooting in burst mode, so i'm getting this one now (other one was class 10, but cant remember about if it was U1 or not).

This one should be more than enough at 32GB, camera shouldnt fill up too fast.

      • +1

It depends if you shoot raw or jpeg. I have issues when I shoot burst with an a7ii (jpeg+raw on manual focus, 5MB jpeg + 20MB raw file) I have to wait a few seconds before I can review them.
This is with an older Samsung pro 64GB card though.
A7II can shoot burst but you have to manual focus (a7 series af nowhere near as fast as a6000)

Jpeg is for unedited pictures available out of the camera until I have time to process the RAWs via Lightroom/captureone

I'd love to see a deal on the 64Gb version (either the Extreme or Extreme Plus, both are U3 cards)…. I only just bought a 64Gb Extreme card from PC Byte (from their Ebay store), but would love another at an even better price. :D'

    EDIT:

Plenty of IT nerds here, we'll fix it for you Frannie. ;)

  • Why the EXPIRED' deal is still at the top of featured deal????? Must have been removed by now

  • Love plus arse…. Wait what?

    • You other OzBargainers can't deny

      • when a bargain walks in with a tiny price and a check out buttons in sight

  • Any chance there might be some CF card deals in the future?

    • Maybe in my future…

      • I'm not holding my breath in that case.

  • You'd think if you are going to do a specific ozb deal you'd have your website on a decent platform to handle the 100 purchasers and the 100,000 added item to basket but can't pull the trigger lurkers ;)

  • Good deal

  • Please do a deal on standard size SD cards soon! :)

    • Can't you just use the adapter? Am I missing something.

      • +1

some people believe the adapter will degrade the speed. I don't know the evidence, though.
