Don't use Flight Centre, Webjet, etc for domestic flights because they all whack you with booking fees. Go directly to the airline. You will get the same price minus the booking fees. Use www.iwantthatflight.com.au to scan all airlines' websites.
Webjet does the same thing. You can jsut use it to find the best deal - then go to the airline direct to book it. I think thats what stanas was doing (just to get quotes)
Hmmm, webjet charges you a processing fee of $10 whenever you go to book it!! Who ever heard of paying for a comparison site? Scandeless!

A quick Adioso search shows that Melbourne to Sydney starts from $28.
price beat tiger's $28 for a mere $25. Either way you still end up on Jetstar anyway
Who are you flying with? What are the travel dates? Last time I enquired with Flight Centre they had none of their advertised prices left, but could give me a dearer flight, plus I would need accomodation, and insurance etc. (the upsell).
I also put a date into Webjet and flights from Brisbane to Sydney on March 7 are $59 with Jetstar (with check-in baggage), $65 with Virgin Blue (with check-in baggage), and $85 with Qantas - for most flights during the day. This day anyway is cheaper than the one above.
