I have one of these for my laptop. The tracking is great on any surface, the dongle is tiny and it lasts about 6 months with everyday use. Great mouse.

  • Hows the mouse for gaming?

I used it to play Serious Sam HD (FPS) a couple of nights ago, and while it's not as good as a G5 it is certainly as good as a MX400, and better than any optical.

I'd recommend using a mouse pad if your FPS gaming.

  • good mouse, small but comfortable, nano receiver but something weird happened to my vx nano. last month i took out the batteries and the one located underneath was .. broken. now the mouse is not working because the battery slot is loose… no idea how and where to get it fixed lol

  • Has anyone used the new M705 which looks to be the successor of the VX?

    • Thanks guys, sounds like it's a great mouse but not quite up their with the build quality.

  • Love my VX Nano. Had one for a while now. Paid $77 from Surpass Computers, nearly 2 year ago i think. Then my mum wanted one too, so she got one from Surpass for $75. Then after ~18mths, the left button started to not respond so well, so i got a full refund. I got a refund instead of a replacement because Electronics Boutique had them on clearance for $45 each, so i got one from there.
Now my mum wants one for her work, so i went and bought 2 today at Officeworks, priced matched HT -5% for $45.60ea.
I'm sure one of my friends/family will want the other one.

I've had this mouse for over a year now for use with my notebook. Everything about it is great except for a few things.
    - The mouse is a bit small for my hand, guess that's the tradeoff for it being so portable.
    - Middle-click does not work as it will activate/deactivate the hyper-fast scrolling wheel. I've gotten around this by reconfiguring the side-scroling function to middle-click via the setpoint software.
    - The forward/backward buttons placement are less than ideal and requires some stretching of the 2nd digit to reach. Very annoying. This has been fixed in the updated Anywhere Mouse MX which has the buttons at the traditional thumb area.

    • I agree about the size, wish it was bigger for my hand, but i like that it's compact for portability.

  • SAYS $68?????
    WHAT IS THE TECH CODE????

  • Tech Code:V2096

  • How to you get it to $48, says $68 for me! :(

It was displaying $48, but now it's changed to $68. Obviously they've bumped the price up. Deal over. Glad i got in while the going was good.
