      Well that rules you out JV.

        woah sick burn.

        I don't think you should have

        great for all ages. Give it to the kids

        in the ozbargain description when the website clearly states that it is for ages above 14.

          They're covering themselves in case something goes wrong. Besides how many kids are playing with things they shouldn't?

        • @Clear:

          They're covering themselves in case something goes wrong.

          So if something does go wrong, you can now take full responsibility for marketing this as something for kids, when clearly it could be quite dangerous…

        • @jv: The suggestion that it's for the kids is my own opinion and not Geekbuying as they have clearly stated that it's suitable for people over the age of 14.

          I've now removed that from my post, so no more people will be mislead.

          @Clear:

          It's a comment you included in your advertising above, and you are tagged as representing the marketing side of geekbuying.

          https://www.accc.gov.au/business/advertising-promoting-your-…

          Businesses using social media channels like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have a responsibility to ensure content on their pages is accurate, irrespective of who put it there.

          According to the ACCC, you are responsible for what you post here… :)

          @jv: I may be partnered with Geekbuying, but I am not an "employee". The Ozbargain staff recognized this and recommended that I use the marketing tag. Obviously my information was incorrect, so I have corrected it and there is no longer an issue.

          Does make me wonder though… how would a case with the ACCC go against an individual and a company that operates out of China?

        • +1

          @Clear:

          That's irrelevant, you are still marketing the product and have responsibility for what you say.

        • @jv: If anyone feels they've been mislead then they can request a refund as that's what the ACCC recommends.

      • hahahahah
        edit: might aswell spend a bit more and get this

  • what type of battery it is that goes in the helicopter? Do I need to pull it out to charge?

    • It's a 75mAh battery that's under the cockpit. It's charged with the controller.

    Neat. So cheap, I'll give it a try

  • Cheapest price I've seen for one of these spinning blade things

  • Flight time 6 minutes.

    • Thats OK, after 5mins, it will go in the shelf next to the remote control car to collect dust until spring cleaning time. Oh, its spring… well, your next declutter time. Having said that, I think I still want one.

        I upvoted the deal, but I think it's a particularly relevant fact to include.

        The last RC helicopter I got like this took hours to charge, and the 5 minute flight time felt quite quick in comparison ;)

        • The $1500 DJI Phantom Quadcopter only has 15 minutes flight time because of an unfortunate battery limitation. A higher capacity battery is larger and heavier which results in more power needed to lift it.

  • OK, I conceded. Paid $8.78 via Paypal.
