Pet Day is coming - Saturday 19th September 2015. See you and all your furry friends then.

Pet event will be located at Ward Park and NorthCott Community Center, Belvoir Street, Surry Hills. (2 separate locations)
Between 11.00am to 3pm.

The Free BBQ is available to all people. Consisting of a sausage roll or a veggie patty. And a water or juice. (based on last year's event) - Starts at 12:30

However, to receive the following you will need to bring your pet. The rule is no pet no giveaways,(unless your can convince them otherwise, lol)

Free microchipping for dogs and cats

Free pet health checks and advice all day (By volunteer vets)

Free desexing bookings for (City of Sydney Pensioners/healthcare card)

Free photo booth and dog tag engraving

Free giveaway bags with sample pet food and possibly toys, accessories, etc

Lucky door prizes

At the community center, I'm 90% certain as i stayed at Ward Park last year, there will be the Australian Wildlife show running at 12.00pm and at 1.30pm.

I went last year without any pets.. but had like 3 sausage sizzles + 2 veggie paddies, and met plenty of friendly dogs.

Hopefully, this year it won't be too overcrowded.. plenty of feed to go around last year.

Cheers.

"Free desexing bookings for (City of Sydney Pensioners/healthcare card)". It always cracks me up when I see this; don't want those pensioners or healthcare card holders breeding do we?

Come to the BBQ - bring the animals you love, eat the ones noone cares about.

    • From what do you think dog and cat food are made?

      • Usually from the remains of disposed animal corpses and other organic materials after humans have had their pickings.

      • There would be no meat "pet food" if people didn't kill other animals for their own whims because "pet maintenance" - at least for obligate carnivores like cats - would be an opulence reserved only for the wealthiest.
